Palembang, KOTABARI.COM – The Palembang District Attorney’s Office has summoned six officials from the Palembang City Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) for the 2019-2024 period to provide information regarding the management of PMI funds. The six individuals include Letizia, Ahmad Zulinto, Makiani, Sulaiman Amin, Hardayani, and PMI Chairperson Fitrianti Agustinda.
Observations at the scene showed that Sulaiman Amin, currently serving as the Head of the Palembang City Tourism Office, left the Prosecutor’s Office building at around 10:35 AM. He was seen wearing a white shirt and black pants. When questioned by the media about his examination, Sulaiman Amin gave a brief response.
“My summons today is related to the news from yesterday,” Sulaiman said when met on Wednesday (July 10, 2024).
Ario Apriyanto Gopar, Head of the Special Crimes Section at the Palembang District Attorney’s Office, stated that as of this afternoon, three individuals had responded to the summons.
“Mr. Zulinto, Mr. Sulaiman Amin, and now Mrs. Letizia have arrived. We expect Mrs. Makiani to come as well,” Ario confirmed.
Meanwhile, Fitrianti Agustinda and Hardayani have not appeared as they requested a rescheduled appointment.
“Mrs. Hardayani and Mrs. Fitri asked for a rescheduled appointment,” he added.
This summons is part of the Palembang District Attorney’s efforts to follow up on allegations of fund misuse within the PMI during the 2019-2024 period. The examination aims to uncover facts related to the management of PMI funds, which has been a public concern.
