Ogan Ilir, KOTABARI.COM – The Ogan Ilir Prosecutor’s Office (Kejari) conducted a search at two houses owned by Bawaslu Ogan Ilir commissioners who have been designated as suspects in the corruption case involving the 2020 Regional Election (Pilkada) grant funds. The search was carried out on Wednesday (9/6/2023).
The first house raided is located in the Indralaya Village, Indralaya District, and belongs to the suspect Dermawan Iskandar. The second house, also subjected to the search, is situated in the Indralaya Mulya Village, Indralaya District, and is owned by the suspect Idris.
Head of Ogan Ilir Kejari, H. Nur Surya, through Intelligence Division Chief Ario Apriyanto Gopar, confirmed that the search had been conducted by the Special Investigation Team (Pidsus) of Ogan Ilir Kejari. The purpose of this action is to search for and collect evidence and exhibits related to the corruption case involving the grant funds of the 2020 Regional Election, in which Bawaslu Ogan Ilir commissioners are implicated.
Although Ario did not specify the documents that were collected during the search, these documents will subsequently be taken to the Ogan Ilir Kejari office for further examination and confiscation.
Throughout the search process, the families of both suspects appeared cooperative, and there were no attempts to obstruct the investigators. The search was also observed by local government officials who provided support to ensure a safe and conducive process.
The corruption case involving the grant funds of the 2020 Regional Election, which implicates Bawaslu Ogan Ilir commissioners, continues to draw the attention of authorities. The search of the suspects’ houses represents a further step in the investigation and prosecution of this case. The investigation will continue to uncover all individuals involved in this case.
