Talang Ubi, KOTABARI.COM – In an effort to maintain the security and comfort of the community, the Talang Ubi Police Sub-district conducted an Enhanced Routine Activity (KRYD) integrated raid on Friday night, July 14, 2023. This activity was carried out as a precautionary measure against illicit activities, disturbances related to drugs, prostitution, and gambling (3C), as well as to ensure public order and safety within the jurisdiction of the Talang Ubi Police Sub-district, Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir (PALI) District.
The preparation assembly for the KRYD was held at the Talang Ubi Police Sub-district headquarters located in Handayani Mulya Village, Talang Ubi District. The assembly was led by the Head of Intelligence Unit of the Talang Ubi Police Sub-district, IPDA Najamudin, and attended by all personnel of the Talang Ubi Police Sub-district.
IPDA Najamudin, the Head of Intelligence Unit of the Talang Ubi Police Sub-district, explained that the integrated raid was carried out to prevent traffic violations and ensure compliance with existing regulations. A total of 10 personnel from the Talang Ubi Police Sub-district participated in this operation.
During the raid, the police officers conducted stops and inspections of both two-wheeled (R2) and four-wheeled (R4) vehicles passing through the main road in front of the Talang Ubi Police Sub-district headquarters. Reprimands were given to vehicle owners who failed to comply with traffic regulations or lacked proper vehicle documents.
“We still found drivers of R2 and R4 vehicles who failed to provide necessary vehicle documents, as well as riders of R2 vehicles without helmets or valid Class C driver’s licenses,” stated IPDA Najamudin.
Furthermore, the raid operation adhered to strict health protocols to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. IPDA Najamudin reminded drivers without urgent purposes to return home promptly to avoid becoming victims of criminal activities.
The integrated raid concluded at 9:00 PM local time, with a safe and conducive environment throughout the operation. The Talang Ubi Police Sub-district hopes that this activity will serve as a deterrent to traffic violators and encourage greater compliance with traffic regulations among the community.
The Talang Ubi Police Sub-district also urges the public to always abide by traffic regulations for the sake of collective security and safety.
