Pagar Alam, KOTABARI.COM – The alleged assault case involving healthcare facility employees in Pagar Alam continues to unfold. The Pagar Alam Inspectorate will directly investigate the case involving two civil servants (ASN).
Supriadi, Head of the Pagar Alam City Inspectorate, stated that his team has received instructions from the Acting Mayor of Pagar Alam to oversee the investigation conducted by the Health Office (Dinkes) concerning the altercation between two Puskesmas employees, NS and RN, which led to a police report.
“Following the Mayor’s orders, we have been asked to coordinate with the Health Office regarding the dispute between NS and RN,” he said on Wednesday (June 12, 2024).
Regarding civil servant ethics, the Health Office, as the direct supervisor of NS and RN, will conduct an evaluation first. The Inspectorate will await the Health Office’s evaluation results before deciding on further involvement.
“Since the Health Office is the direct supervisor of both parties, we do not wish to interfere with their evaluation or training of NS and RN. We will wait for the evaluation results to determine whether the Inspectorate needs to step in or if the matter can be resolved by the Health Office alone,” he added.
The Inspectorate will not interfere with the ongoing legal process at the Pagar Alam Police Station and respects the ongoing legal proceedings.
“The report filed by NS with the police is within the jurisdiction of law enforcement, and we will not interfere with that matter,” he asserted.
Regarding indications of alleged corruption at the Puskesmas, which may have triggered the altercation between NS and RN, the Inspectorate cannot act until the legal process is concluded.
“Let the legal process be completed first, then we will investigate the alleged financial irregularities at the Puskesmas. For questions regarding the consequences related to civil servant ethics, you may refer to the Regional Civil Service Agency,” he concluded.
