Who is Josh Akherman?
Born in Palembang on June 13, 1986, Josh Akherman is the youngest child of H. Sukiman and Hj. Bunga Wati. At the age of 38, he is known as the youngest graduate of the Institute of Public Administration (IPDN) to serve in Ogan Komering Ulu Selatan (South OKU), South Sumatra.
Josh began his career as the Secretary of Kisau Subdistrict in Muaradua District. His dedication and commitment earned him key positions, including Subsection Head of Protocol at the South OKU Regency Government, Subdistrict Head of Sindang Danau, Head of Asset Management at BPKAD, and most recently, Secretary of the Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD) in South OKU.
“I am ready to carry out my duties according to the scope and to support the programs of the South OKU DPRD,” Josh said in a previous interview after his appointment.
