Palembang, KOTABARI.COM – Yunita Tri Kumalasari (37), the lawful wife of an OKU Selatan Legislative Secretary identified as JA, broke into tears after learning that the criminal report she filed regarding alleged adultery was dismissed by the Palembang Police’s Criminal Investigation Unit. The dismissal was marked by the issuance of a Letter of Investigation Termination Order (SP3), leaving Yunita feeling justice was not served.

Accompanied by her attorney, Mariana SH, Yunita expressed deep disappointment over the investigators’ decision to drop the case. “All I seek is justice. I am the victim here, but it seems like my cries are ignored,” she said through tears.

Yunita’s frustration reached a peak when the woman allegedly involved with her husband, identified as MZ, responded defiantly through an Instagram direct message. “She said if I keep challenging her, she would deliberately post photos of herself with my husband to make me panic. She even threatened to report me to the South Sumatra Police, claiming I had humiliated her,” Yunita revealed emotionally.

The alleged affair has not only emotionally distressed Yunita but has also placed immense psychological pressure on her as a mother of three. “I have also reported this to the relevant agencies, but so far, there has been no response. My hope is that the OKU Selatan authorities can act fairly,” she said.

Mariana SH, Yunita’s legal representative, questioned the issuance of the SP3 by the Palembang Police. “We have not been given a clear explanation about who was questioned or whether any significant steps were taken in this investigation. We are deliberating on the next course of action,” Mariana stated.

Additionally, the legal team filed a similar report with the Jakarta Metropolitan Police (Polda Metro Jaya). Mariana expressed optimism that this case would progress, pointing to supporting evidence, such as CCTV footage from a hotel in Jakarta.

This case has captured public attention, as JA holds a significant position in OKU Selatan. Yunita continues to call for justice, hoping that the truth will prevail and her dignity as the lawful wife will be upheld.
