Pagaralam, KOTABARI.COM – A young man with the initials RO (20) was found dead on Sunday night (15/12/2024) at around 10:00 PM WIB in the Jalan Gunung area, Sidorejo Subdistrict, South Pagar Alam District, Pagar Alam City. The victim, a local resident, died from excessive blood loss caused by stab wounds.
RO’s body was buried by his family on Monday afternoon (16/12/2024) in a deeply mournful atmosphere. The victim’s family and relatives declined to provide further information regarding the incident.
The Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit (Kasat Reskrim) of the Pagar Alam Police, Iptu Candra Kirana, SH MH, accompanied by Police Public Relations Head AKP Mastoni, confirmed the tragic event. Authorities have detained a person suspected of being the perpetrator. The police are currently conducting further investigations to uncover the motive behind this unfortunate incident.
“The suspected perpetrator has been detained. We are still in the process of examining the case to determine the motive. Full details will be released in a press conference later,” said Iptu Candra Kirana on Tuesday (17/12/2024).
According to gathered information, the stabbing incident allegedly occurred following a dispute between the victim and the owner or employee of a seblak food stall in the area. However, the complete chronology of the event is still under investigation.
The Pagar Alam Police Chief, AKBP Erwin Aras Genda, S.IK, through Kasat Reskrim Iptu Candra Kirana, emphasized their commitment to thoroughly investigate the case.
