Musi Banyuasin, KOTABARI.COM – Residents of Musi Banyuasin (Muba) were left in awe after the discovery of a human skeleton within an oil palm plantation on Monday, May 6, 2024. Information disclosed by the Public Relations Officer of Muba Police, AKP Susianto, indicated that the skeleton was found around 06:00 AM local time.
Authorities conducting the site inspection and investigation recovered several pieces of evidence, including clothing, a piece of rope, and a clump of hair, alongside bones ranging from the skull, jawbone, spine, and tailbone.
However, the mystery shrouding this discovery persists as, up to this point, the gender and identity of the human skeleton remain undisclosed. AKP Susianto confirmed that the remains had been transported to RS Bhayangkara Palembang for identification procedures by the police.
While local residents are inundated with concern and speculation, authorities continue their investigation to unravel the truth behind this startling discovery. The presence of the human skeleton raises numerous questions, including how it ended up in the oil palm plantation and whether any criminal activity is associated with the finding.
