Recently, a photo of a village head in the Tanjung Raja District, Ogan Ilir, displaying his genitalia, has been widely circulated on social media and WhatsApp messages.
In the circulated photo, the genitalia of the village head, identified by the initial “M”, who is still actively serving, is clearly visible. The presence of this photo has caused a stir among the public, especially in Ogan Ilir, on Tuesday (6/2/2024).
Efforts to contact “M”, as depicted in the photo, have failed as his mobile phone number is inactive. When approached for confirmation, the Chairman of the Ogan Ilir Village Head Forum, Angga Arafat, stated that he was unaware of the lewd photo.
“I don’t know yet. Tonight, I will visit the concerned village head’s residence to inquire directly,” said Angga when contacted by telephone.
Angga pledged to provide clearer information regarding the circulation of the photo of the village head once he has had a direct conversation with the individual involved.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Community and Village Empowerment Agency (PMD) of Ogan Ilir Regency, Faisal, stated that they are currently seeking clarification from the village head in question.
“We are still seeking clarification,” said Faisal via WhatsApp message.
This controversy further complicates the political and social landscape in Ogan Ilir, as residents await an official explanation regarding this alarming incident.
