OKU Timur, KOTABARI.COM – The inauguration ceremony for the elected Village Heads from the 2023 Simultaneous Village Election Results was held in a festive atmosphere in Zone 2 of OKU Timur Regency on Friday (July 14). Regent of OKU Timur, Ir. H. Lanosin, accompanied by Vice Regent H.M. Adi Nugraha Purna Yudha, S.H., and Chairperson of TP PKK OKU Timur, Dr. Sheila Noberta, SpA. M.Kes, were present at this historic event.
In the ceremony held in Zone 2, 7 newly elected Village Heads were officially inaugurated. The appointed Village Heads are Ilyas Sulaiman Kedes Kuripan – Cempaka, Sumedi Yanto Kades Gampang Tiga Jaya – Cempaka, Dermawan Kades Banding Agung – Madang Suku III, Triyono Kades Karya Makmur – Madang Suku III, Birawijaya Kades Kangkung Ilir – Semendawai Barat, Ismail Kades Betung Timur – Semendawai Barat, and Nurdin Saleh Kades Menanga Sari – Semendawai Barat.
After the inauguration of the Village Heads, the inauguration of 7 TP PKK Village Chairs, who will accompany the Village Heads in carrying out their responsibilities as village leaders for the next 6 years, was also conducted. The Chairperson of TP PKK of OKU Timur Regency attended the event to witness the ceremony.
In his guidance and address, Regent of OKU Timur, Ir. H. Lanosin, extended his congratulations to the newly elected Village Heads. He emphasized the importance of improving public services and encouraged the development of educated, healthy, and prosperous communities. The Regent also urged the newly appointed Village Heads to promptly coordinate with their respective subdistrict heads as the initial step in carrying out their duties and responsibilities. Furthermore, he stressed the importance of introducing innovative approaches that benefit the community.
H. Rusman, S.E. M.M., Head of the Regional Development Planning Agency of OKU Timur, also congratulated the newly inaugurated Village Heads and TP PKK Chairs. He expressed his hope that the Village Heads would fulfill their duties effectively, uphold the entrusted responsibilities, and prioritize the interests of the community.
