Banyuasin, KOTABARI.COM – A Fuso truck veered off the road at KM 50 of the Palembang-Betung Highway in Banyuasin Regency on Saturday (4/27/2024), causing severe traffic congestion along the route.
The condition resulted in a lengthy traffic jam as the truck obstructed the roadway, making it difficult for other vehicles to pass through. The congestion further intensified as vehicles from both directions attempted to maneuver around the obstructed area, causing delays and frustration among motorists.
Members of the Banyuasin Traffic Police (Satlantas Polres Banyuasin) were seen making efforts to regulate traffic flow and prevent the situation from escalating into a major gridlock. Additionally, evacuation efforts were underway to remove the veered-off Fuso truck from the scene.
“Traffic could come to a standstill if this continues. It’s already congested as it is,” expressed one motorist, highlighting the growing concerns over the worsening traffic situation.
