Bogor, KOTABARI.COM – The Indonesian National Police (Polri) has detained two police officers in connection with the death of Bripda Ignatius Dwi Frisco Sirage (Bripda IDF), who is suspected to have been shot by his fellow police colleague. This information was revealed by the Head of Public Relations Division of Polri, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, during a press conference with media personnel on Wednesday, July 26, 2023.
The tragic incident took place at the Polri Cikeas Housing Complex, Gunung Putri, Bogor, on Sunday, July 23, 2023, at approximately 01:40 AM WIB. According to Ramadhan’s statement, Bripda Dwi Frisco Sirage lost his life due to alleged negligence by his colleagues, identified as Bripda IMS and Bripka IG.
A joint team of the Internal Affairs Division (Propam) and the Criminal Investigation Division (Reskrim) has been formed to conduct further investigations and ascertain whether there were any disciplinary violations, ethical breaches, or criminal acts committed by the perpetrators. “Rest assured, Polri will not tolerate any individuals who violate the existing rules and regulations,” emphasized Ramadhan.
